In 2019, Expocentre, Russia’s leading trade show company, celebrates the 60th anniversary.

Looking at the history of Expocentre, one can study the development of the exhibition industry in this country. The company was established on the initiative of the USSR Chamber of Commerce and Industry that organised trade shows and expositions in the country and abroad. Today, Expocentre remains the main organiser of trade shows in key sectors of the Russian economy and other countries.

The company paved the way for the Russian exhibition industry to the global exhibition community when it became a member of UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, in 1975. Expocentre’s 23 international trade shows bear the UFI approved labels.

Expocentre is also a member of the International Congress and Convention Association ICCA, the European Major Exhibition Centres Association EMECA, and other world’s leading exhibition and congress associations.

Expocentre is a permanent leader in the Russian exhibition industry that effectively implements the latest trade show technologies and services. It is also one of the founders of RUEF, the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs.

Expocentre annually hosts more than 100 trade shows and 1,000 congresses, conferences, and similar events with participation of key industry players from Russia and 130 other countries.

Expocentre organises dozens of exhibitions and presentations abroad with participation of Russian companies.
